Job Description

U.S. Facilities, Inc., a comprehensive facility management service, is looking for a Full Time General Maintenance Mechanic for our West Chester, PA location. The Maintenance Mechanic will primarily handle general building trade tasks, such as light plumbing, bulb changing, drywall repairs, and painting. This role will involve carrying out preventative maintenance and repairs, diagnosing/troubleshooting maintenance issues, performing various facilities-related repairs, and minor fabrications.

**SHIFT: Monday – Friday 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm**

Pay Rate: Based on experience

Tasks may include maintenance, repairs, assisting the Building Engineer, and other assigned duties. Responsibilities may change to address business needs and changing business practices.

Qualifications:

• 3 to 5 years of experience in general building maintenance
• Ability to prep, paint, and touch up surfaces
• Ability to perform preventative maintenance, installations, diagnose/repair, and troubleshoot equipment
• Demonstrated history of being a dependable and cohesive team member
• Compliance with all company safety regulations
• Reporting of any issues to the project manager
• Timely response to repair and maintenance requests
• Following written and verbal instructions from the maintenance manager or clients
• Collaboration with the maintenance team and contractors as needed
• Use of equipment, including power tools and hand tools
