I was hired by PRWT as a cashier for the Downtown Los Angeles Public Service Center on September 21, 1998. Then in 2002 I transferred to the Mid-Wilshire Public Service Center as the Lead Cashier which I held that position for 7 years. In October 2009 I transferred to the Van Nuys Public Service Center as the Supervisor for the past 10 years and still active as a supervisor for PRWT. PRWT has been a home for me for so many years and I look for many more years to come.”

In 1995, I was again promoted to be the Supervisor of our West LA Public Service Center. Now I hold the position as the Public Service Center Manager where I have been since 2000. “My previous employer relocated out-of-state and I decided not to go. When I started at PRWT, I wasn’t planning on staying as long I did; this was only supposed to be a stopover. 27 years later, I am still with the company. In my mind, this was just going to be a temporary gig until I found another job. I am glad that it turned out this way and I wouldn’t change it for the world.
I started as a customer service representative and then over the years, I worked my way up to production manager. I wouldn’t be where I am today if I didn’t have a great staff working beside me. It wasn’t my plan to stay here this long, but I enjoyed the work that I was doing and the people that I work with. It became more like a second family than a place to work.
