SUMMARY
PRWT Services Inc is seeking a dynamic leader to coach, develop, and motivate staff across multiple cashier locations. This role is responsible for driving productivity and quality performance, maintaining strict fund security protocols, and ensuring a compliant and well-controlled operational environment. The Cashiering Manager who will play a pivotal role in department success by providing strong leadership, reviewing policies, streamlining processes, and supporting documentation efforts. The ideal candidate will also spearhead new initiatives and foster lasting client relationships. The Cashiering Manager will manage and coordinate the daily activities of the Cashiering department under the direction of the Project Director.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
- Maintain and enforce company policies and procedures to ensure compliance.
- Assist with recruiting, hiring, and onboarding of staff.
- Schedule and lead regular staff meetings to ensure effective communication.
- Complete corrective actions as necessary to address performance issues.
- Develop and manage department schedules to ensure optimal staffing and workflow.
- Attend weekly and monthly meetings with clients to provide updates and resolve issues.
- Monitor department budgetary guidelines and ensure adherence to financial targets.
- Make recommendations to improve production while staying within budgetary standards.
- Assist with the training and development of line staff and leadership of the department.
- Monitor production goals to ensure targets are met.
- Maintain accurate time and attendance records for department staff.
- Complete and verify weekly payroll for Cashiering staff in the payroll system.
- Examine work for accuracy and ensure conformity to contractual guidelines.
- Review reports and daily transactions for accuracy and efficiency.
- Maintain harmony among workers and resolve grievances in a timely manner.
- Responsible for daily, weekly, and monthly reporting for all Cashiering locations.
- Oversee multiple locations within the department to ensure smooth execution.
- Ensure the security of funds within the department, including safes and secure storage.
- Participate in PCI gap assessment and audits.
- Ensure staff follow PCI policies and procedures.
- Report all security concerns and /or breeches to the Project Director.
- Conduct internal audits, including camera audits, to ensure compliance and security.
- Maintain positive client relations by addressing inquiries and ensuring satisfaction.
- Oversee and maintain adequate supply levels across all cashiering locations to ensure smooth departmental operations.
- Maintain adequate change (coins and currency) at all cashiering locations to ensure smooth transaction processing.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the success of the department.
