SUMMARY

Supervisor is responsible for supervising and coordinating activities of the Cashiering locations within the guidelines of the contract and under the leadership of the Manager.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
•Prepares work schedule to expedite workflow
•Handles escalated issues
•Follows up on requests from clients to implement new procedures
•Assigns duties and examines work for accuracy
•Assist and provide input to manager with hiring and termination
•Responsible for coaching, counseling, and /or corrective actions of staff
•Responsible for staff training
•Assist staff with job duties when needed
•Motivate staff and participate in departmental goals
•Communicate with client in absence of Manager
•Balances all daily transaction
•Completes weekly payroll
•Completes daily, weekly, and monthly reports
•Prepare monthly schedule
•Approve and/or deny vacation requests
•Other duties as assigned


QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
•High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
•Possess at least three (3) years prior experience in the performance of cashiering functions
•Possess at least two years previous supervisory/management experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
•Ability to read, write, and understand English
•Excellent oral and written communication skills
•Proven ability to manage and provide leadership
•Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
•Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts and interest.
•Ability to compute rate, ration and percent.
•Ability to define, as well as solve problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
•Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form
